Well my bro is off to college and he left behind a '99 eclipse gs, slammed, 18's, blitz kit... and it is amazingly low. Well I told him I'd drive it like once a week just to keep the thing running so tonight I took it out with a friend into town for a little town festivity.

Well, its worse enough that I have to back down the drive way, and even at that, i still scraped the bottom of the bumper, but worse yet, in town, trying to turn around, i ------- nose dived into some pavement and left a hearty scratch on the underside of the blitz front. So I run back to my friend's house to swap cars, in this case a 350z, and he ------- manages to back that up into a curb... another scratch to the list all in 15 minutes.

Figured I'd share that, I'm pissed, I'm never driving that ---- again.

 

Must be one of those cars where going over speedbumps is basically impossible. Maybe your brother won't notice, it's bound to happen anyway if it's that low.

 

Well its possibly, barely.. my bro and I were at the beach and there was a speed bump we sorta had to go over... i got out to direct him over it, i made him stop when his bumper was over it, barely fit my finger between the bump and the bumper...

Yeah, hes so melodramatic that when he finds out he will go nuts for 5 minutes than brush it off and not give a ----.

Oh well, worse comes to worse I'll just hop in the turbo sol and run from him...

I love dropped cars, my ef hatch was so dropped the mudguards scratched the pavement. Ahhh the classic speed bumps, ever time I hit one, reminded me of elementary, exactly like a see-saw.

 

That's the price you pay. The body kit has a lot to do with how bad it scrapes and also makes it look shitty. :P

I actually think the car turned out to look nice... its just too slow. When i get pics of my turbo set up going ill make sure to throw one of the clipser in it.
