Front lower tie bar sits low in my crx, if I lowered my car, it would hit on every manhole cover, rock or roadkill I came near. Put on a kit to cover some space. Almost never scrapes.

My 2nd civic had those shitty coil-overs and I dropped it like 4" when we put them in, just to try. There was a can of pop in the road, on it's side, and I just pushed it with the car. Way too low, but it looked bomb as hell, just wasn't driveable.

Current civic = 1" drop, plenty of looks for me and still some ground clearance and suspension travel.
