Default 88 Accord lxi died, HELP

this is my friends car and heres the situation.

The cars been sitting for basically a year, from my understanding its been started every once in awhile throughout the course of the year. Today, the car was brought out and driven for about 50 miles, then all of a sudden, while at a stop sign, the car died. Fuel pump isnt dead, the car is turning over, everything looks in order, but isnt....

Any suggestions would help,

Thanks HMT

Before moving it did you guys check the oil? May sound stupid but I've seen people do something like that before.

Check the three things you need for the engine to run.

First check your spark, then your fuel and if you have both lastly check your compression.

If you have them all then its something electrical.... maybe in sitting a while wires were eating or chewed at my small animals. You never know

If you have spark it sounds more like fuel being your issue. How do you know the fuel pump didn't die? Maybe your fuel filter is clogged. Even if you have low compression the engine will usually at least fire or try to start.
