Yup your suppose to. I don't understand why no one every talks about it. Just get a 90-93 cable and all problems solved. had the same thing when I did my first b series swap in an ef.

humm, i think thats what is gonna come down too from the sound of it. a guy on honda-tech said you need to hack at it some, but i dont really understand what he is talking about. think a trip the pullapart is in order (extra cable)...

btw before i get asks i am using a ghetto hacked/modified D-series bracket, it works but is only held in by one bolt and seems to have some flex in it...

with the bracket that i had on my first tranny it was too short then when i got the other tranny and used the bracket that came with it and it works fine i think jeff has the other bracket now but im not sure how his cable fits.

my engine is SiR, that might be why it fits for me. he just cut at the tranny side of the rubber and it fit. my brother has an Xsi motor in his 91 hatch and I think he has the stock cable, the clutch is just a bitch

*shake head* um, ummm, ummm. maybe that's one of the reasons why you're car STILL isn't running
