what do you guys think about the chips that are supposed to be able to run a honda ecu capable of 9 pounds of boost. my friend has a ebay chip on his crx and it worked to take up the revlimit but it didnt have turbo features do you think this one would actually work for a turbo or have people seen bad things with these.

All those chips on ebay are ----. If your thinking about chipping your ECU just do it yourself. There is a sticky about TurboEDIT and ubderdata at the top of this forum you should check out.

Maybe not. You can also use a eprom programmer to copy chips, so they probably just make copies of "mugen" and "skunnk2" chip and re-sell them.

That is a PGMFI original released under the GNU Public license. Meaning, they can't it.

well thanks for the info, after reading around i think im gonna get a bruner and make my own chip using ghettodyne or turboedit, i wont support the ebayer either as respect to the people that put hard work into making ghettodyne and other editors possible

 

if i were xtensive or turboef9 id be ------- pissed. i would seek legal action against this punk bitch ----------er, or at least try and get him kicked off of ebay for illegally selling ----. you guys and the rest of pgmfi work hard as ---- trying to make a free software and roms to help the honda community out, and some little dicksniffer tries to make money off of your work.
