Default Remote mount Q...

Is a Garrett TP-38 off of a 7.3L Power Stroke diesel too big to run a remote mount set-up on a 2.5l V6 in a SVT Contour?

Got any specs for that turbo? Main concern if going remote mount is the A/R of the turbine. Mine is a .68 a/r which is on the large side for a remote mount. STS uses really small a/r's down in the .25-.35 range on their twin setups if I remember correctly.

i find the general rule of thumb with diesel turbos is to stick around just over double the displacement...then throw in a RMT set up...down size a tiny bit...so this turbo is way big, even if mounted up front...unless your going for mega power, with mega lag

You halve the displacement from diesel to gas. A 7 liter diesel turbo will be right at home on a 3.5 liter gas engine, and will probably be ok on a 2.5l V6. Why didn't you go with any of the holset options? I know a lot more about those : )
