i picked up a z6 intake manifold. what fuel rail can i use? just a dseries rail? also, i think its the fast idle control.... can i completely bypass it? also, will my stock map sensor work? or my tps from my old dpi setup? thanks.

 

Your DPFI TPS will not work, your stock map sensor will work, but the Z6 intake will have a Map sensor on the Throttle body. the Map plugs are the same, but the maps mount differently.

Your going to have to have the matching TB b/c an A6 TB will not mount on a Z6 intake manifold.

The bottom bolt on the intake manifold that your DPFI has a big bracket fot is a PITA to get off, and with the Z6 intake it will be a PITA to get back on. The A6 intake isn't that hard to still get that bolt/nut back on..

 

fuel rail bolt patterns are different. I took my spare z6 rail and matched it to an a6 rail, the two outside bolts are different. The one is totally off, the other is slightly off. I just drilled the one hole and enlongated the other one to fit. The injector locations are the same though.

88 is right about the tb, they are different bolt pattern.
