i have a td04L. building my manifold next week. and im wondering, should i add a external wastegate and remove the internal. or just use the internal?

 

just use the internal. this is going to be a dialy driver right. the internal will work just fine for your application. if you decide to get a bigger turbo you will need a different manifold any ways so as of right now there is no point in getting a external.

 

yea save the extra money and stick with the internal gate. the internal gate on my 18g held 16psi no problem so if this is your dd, internal will be plenty.
