Default Turbine Trim and a/r?

I am looking to buy a turbo for my project, and I have already read the sticky on finding the right compressor size and read for 2 days trying to find information on turbine wheels, but i haven't seen much on turbine trims, a/r's, or different stages of wheels.

I am just curious at seeing some of your turbo choices and what RPMs they start spooling at. I know I'm going to get a t3/t4, but the ones I have looked at have seen have a .48 a/r on the turbine, and from what I've read its too small for my needs. Its just hard to find a decently priced turbo that fits my criteria and isn't a ssautochrome special.. I know i want the turbo to spool around 3-3.5k on a 2.0L engine..but I am just wondering if you guys could give me a little insight from experience.

smaller A/R it doesn't mean that the turbo is small...

I was actually going to put a t3/t4 on so i could have a little turbo lag to drive around town not in boost..but the fuel management of choice (msp ecu and injectors) won't hold up to that kind of turbo without an additional piggyback and even bigger injectors, which is a little too out of my budget. and after seeing how big it is there is no way in hell it's going to fit in the engine bay without making a crazy manifold or a lot of modifications.

I'm now looking at the t28 bb turbo off of a silvia. I'm not trying to build a monster, just something fun to play around with, as it is my first build and I'm not trying to roast the engine anytime soon. I wish i could afford a new gt28..but they are hella expensive. My budget for the project is around 2k..including a new clutch and flywheel.
