Hello from Majorca - Spain
Hello everybody:
My name is Ben and I'm happy to be here to learn about Turbochargin' , Currently I own a 2001 Miata with a M45 JRSC with intercooler. Boost is 8 psi now and I'm happy with the car Although I feel there is still room for more boost with SC (MP62), Turbo way will be cheaper and the results will be far more better.
My goal is get about 10 psi and 200 RWHP? with regulation to reach 14 psi from time to time.
I'm gonna buy the required parts, from low compresion pistons, rods, gaskets, bearings, etc. I have a Miata tubular exhaust manifold for a Nissan Silvia Garrett GT25 GT28 turbocharger. When I'll got all the parts, the engine will be dismanteled to be built to turbo specs. I'm not in a hurry so I'll take my time to do it, in the interim I'll try to learn as much as I can here.
Thanx a lot.
