Default 01 gsr build

Whats up turbo people.

I am completely new to the turbo scene. I own a 2001 integra gsr with only slight mods so far. I have a skunk 2 intake manifold, CAI, and a 2 1/4 header back exhaust with a rsx type s muffler. I only recently decided to go turbo with the car and besides the basics I know nothing on how to build a motor to make it solid for a turbo application. My father owns a auto body/mechanic shop so a place to do the work is the easy part. We are going to build it ourselves and also do a JDM front end off a type R. Im not looking to spend 20k on a motor but I would like a reliable daily driver with a good amount of power. Im thinking around 250-300 is an attainable number for this car. Please correct me if im wrong here.

Piecing together a turbo shouldnt be so hard. My main concern is building the block and head so that the car will be solid. I just found this site last night and did about 2 hours of reading and searching the forums trying to figure out what I need to do. I still have a lot to figure out.

If anyone has any pointers on what I should do first or where i should look I would greatly appreciate it.

-Richie
