Default ZC swap in 98 civc

My little bro blew his motor week or so ago, and i can get a zc non vtack for 550 shiped.

Will the vtack head from the d16y8 bolt up, and if so, the piston definatly hit the valves, it put four dents in to the piston is that head any good, or will i not know untill i put it on??

im trying to avoid throwing cel codes and haveing to do alot of wiring, being that its cold out, and its not really fun to work on a car, thats not geting upgraded

Head is done. You could put it on if it was good. No wiring needed. Cel codes, just change it to obd1. Zc non vtec> y7/8.
