ZC pissing me off PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
So after all day of ------ with my car it doesnt run when cold anymore. Awhile ago i fixed my a jumpy idle problem i had by putting on a tb from my a6 and making it idle kinda high. Well that one was stickin open and pedal wouldnt go down so i ended up replacing the throttle cable and having to put the old tb back on. Now the idle went crazy again when warm. So i ended up doin the resistor trick for the iacv and using the idle screw to get it to idle right when warm. Now it wont run when cold but when warm it idled around 1000. Im confused and the only think of that can be different from the tb's are the tps sensor. So what does it do? Any help from someone that actually read through my mess of a rant would be appreciated. Thanks.

hmmmmmmm....what kinda ECU are you using?
My old CRX with a ZC had the PM7 ecu...the euro models have a IMA sensor that's just a potentiometer that goes to a selenoid I think...you coul set it at a fixed setting .... it was for the idle.

u could also try usin a pg7 ecu off of 88-89 integra...might help a little. I don't think the pg7 has a IMA sensor, i use it on my crx with a z6 with no probs.

Well i fixed it for now. I put the tb from the a6 back on. I cleaned the ---- out of it first. It starts when cold and idles at 1000 when warm. It also seemed not to stick anymore after the cleaning too. Hopefully it stays running.

check your vacuum lines make sure nothing came off...sounds stupid but i had a friend and her crx with a b16 was doing the same thing then we found a vacuum line that came off and put it back on and it was good to go again. peace -mike

I bypassed the eacv by soldering a resistor in the line. Its weird it only does it for the first minute or two. After that it idles great. I have to keep my foot on the gas to keep it running at first. Iono its starting to really **** me off though. Thanks for the ideas and help.

I replaced the fuel filter when i did my swap about 6 months ago. Iono im about to go take a look at it in a couple of mins. I had a day of leaving it alone now its time to fix that damn problem.
if so open it up maybe the screw came off of it
