hey my buddy has a hf crx with a dual cam zc, he was wondering what might it be that the car with just die under full throttle, he took it up to 6K and then shifted to 2nd and it dies on him and we are clueless can someone help us on what to look for or what might be our possible problem

Turbo/NA?
Fuel management?
Any recent work done to it?
How long has it been running shitty?
Has it ever ran good?
What ECU?
What injectors?
What is all done to the motor?
Does it stall, or does it bog?
Any sputtering?
Does it run good the rest of the time?

it is n/a, it has been running good, he just got the car and it seemed to be going just fine and we are about to turbo is but we want to know the problem before we create more, it was really weird to cause it doesnt bog or anything he just hit the gas real fast and took it to 6K and then shifted to 2nd and it died between gears

 

has it just started doing this...or is it always like this, and does it run fine to 6000rpm's?

 

it runs like a champ, it just died it was weird like it lost compression or someone had just turned the key off, he was just shifting really fast from 6K to 2nd and then we are like wtf when it just turned off
