ah, the mr. gasket raises it. that's good. 8.25 vs. 8.47
i think jeff was referring to my sample pics. (z6 w/ gasket)
which would suck ***: 7.84

that's whats great about this swap it loves boost with that low comp. when i first started to tune my uber i would accidentally have the car run extremely lean on the stock timing and still not get even the slightest ping. and at 15lbs boost on n2o the motor runs happy and healthy. it just likes to eat up cheaper head gaskets.

so why only a 13.2? seems to me that you should be laying down better times.

well there's a few reasons for that; for one my clutch sucks. two i dont have slicks on the car, three i'm a shitty driver. i havent had that much strip time. this year was the first time ever at the strip. i have been fooling around with my 2 step trying to find some traction but if i dont get wheel hop then i just smoke the tires. i have been practicing with my s-10 on snow and water to get the right amount of slip on my clutch, but it seems to be so much different on the street than it is on the track. hell 13.2 is a pretty good time any ways. i usally trap at like 105-109 so thats not too bad either.

13.2 is great. get some stiffer shocks and some stiffer motor mounts. That will help. The wheel hop might go away but the roasting might not. Ha. its not a bad thing.

One of my friend's and i built an a1, and all we did to the head was port and polish and throw in a set of zc cams. Friekin thing pulled up to 7800 hard, and he said it wanted to keep going, but his ecu hit the rev limiter Stupid pg7 ecu's, told him just to rechip a pm6 for his obd-0
