Default z6/y7 crank comparo.. which is better?

im replacing the crank in my z6 with one from a y7. The oil holes that are drilled into the crank are different. the z6 has round holes that are champhered, and the y7 has oval holes that are not. i would think the oval holes would do a better job of ------ing oil over more of the bearing surface.

y7

which do you think is better. only reason i ask is my buddy who couldnt stop spinning bearings with a y8 crank. i dont know if it looks like the y7. but its all i had laying around.

They are more or less the same. The Y7 is the same as the Y8 crank and they have little differences from the Z6 crank. If your friend is constantly spinning rod bearings, then he is not putting the right size bearings on, torquing the rods bolts correctly, or he is detonating which puts a lot of stress on bearings in general.
