I didn't even think it was possible to put the D series distributor on the wrong way. I thought they all had offset contacts? Mine won't go in wrong.......

Re:z6 swap in 91 crx dont run NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it cant happen. you can spin the rotor in the dizzy till it lines up with the cam, and it will slide in like....well. it only goes in one way.
-the dizzy only goes in one way, but if he doesnt set it exactly the way it was its gonna be off on timing, which would be a reason it wont start. did he mark it when he took it out?
-look at my post about how to install the plug wires into the dizzy. he might also have these in wrong, it can easly be confused with the way the manual shows...

I believe not. Theres three notches, then about an inch or so down is where the one mark is. You want the crank on the middle of the three notches.

^ that one is tdc.

I didnt not mark the dizzy when i took it off cause it was already pulled. But on my zc the motor still ran no matter how advanced or retarded I made it. My dizzy only goes into the head one way.
The way I hooked my plugs back up are like this
3
1 4
2
When I have my cam gear lined up perfectly with the two notches lined up with the top of the head and I look down through the notch and arrow on the timing belt cover I see the single notch all by it self. Like this

^ that is the one I see on my crank pully.
I just got home from work and was unable to get my friend over with his camera but he said he'll take pics tomorrow.

the middle one is just the mark of stock base ig timing mark..
you need to set it to the white mark which seats right next to a black mark..whihc means he did it right already.
