is your map scaled for the 450s i had mine scaled for 390s once and it didnt start...fixed the map and it worked fine

look man, i just had this same exact problem this weekend. ask projekteg. i almost garantee that you have your firing order messed up. make sure you have spark. if you are getting fuel, and air, you dont have spark, or you dont have spark in the right order. read what i wrote and check it again.

in the manual, it shows the firing order as #1 plug on the bottom 6:00 position, no it goes in the 9:00 position on the dizzy. then it goes around from there...i almost promise this is what you are doing wrong.

i checked everything 1000 times...used starting fluid, the ---- blew back in my face and singed a ---- load of hair off my face, everything cought on fire in the engine bay, it was horrible, then i called one of my other buddies, he came down and laughed at me, changed my spark plug wires around, and the bitch started right up. the haynes manual is a little confusing when it cones to the firing order, trust me, i know.

 

i had the same problem when in did a swap, the picture they have of the dizzy in the manual is different then the actual way it should be, i was confused as hell, replaced the coil, rotor, cap, wires, everything, then i just decided to rotate the wires on the cap and BAAM! anyways, it's prolly flooded as hell now, so take the plugs out and turn it over to get the fuel out, then touch the plucs to something metal to see if they're all firing, if they are, it's your firing order, or you're getting way too much fuel for some reason and it's killing the spark. your starting symptoms sounds exactly what was happening to me though, little coughs here and there but wouldn't actually start.

we already asked that, and recieved no response from him.

 

I thik you are trying to hard...take a step back, and trouble shoot where we are telling you to...it should start, unless your bin is really really fucked up.

 

Sorry been at work all day. I just bought new plugs and wires . My firing order is set the way it is on the pic you loaded. Gonna go mess with it now for a while and let you guys know whats up. I appreciate all the help. Thanks.
