On all the motors I've had or swapped for friend we removed all that with no problems. Only thing I put back on is the shield next to the flywheel.

I don't even put that ---- on... my flywheel's freeballin.

however, my built D will have both Z6 engine stiffeners because I happen to have them laying around.

Ive ran d & b series for 8 years without the intake brackets.

i always run the bottom braces, but never the intake manifold one

cept the torque mounts i don't like my engine to move when i gas or decel

thats how i see most of the swaps where im from..i know if you dont have the rear L mount your car will jerk

I dont run any of them. Especialy the intake mani, because it makes pulling the head a bit eassier.
