Hi, yesterday I swapped a z6 into my 88 dx hatch. Everything went smooth until it came to reinstalling the exhaust. The downpipe from the b2 wouldn't clear the z6 oilpan. What do you guys normally do about this? Do you all just swap the oilpan from the b2 over to the z6 or what? I had thought about doing that but was wondering if the z6 crank would clear the b2 oilpan? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

why not use the z6 exhaust mani & downpipe?
