z6 in civic cx, use to have zc. what mounts do i use...
blew my zc and need the car asap so i bought a z6 and just found out neither the hasport mount on the zc nor the cx will fit the new z6. it's the mount by the timing belt. will the stock z6 mount put the engine in the same place?
refraise: i want to bolt up my turbo kit(originally on the zc) to the z6 without any mods if possible.

WTF, what are you asking? The mount or the turbo kit?

sorry. I know the turbo kit will bolt up (manifold ect.) the thing i'm worried about is that a differant engine mount might slightly move the mounted position of the engine thus ------- up the allignment of the charge pipes and downpipe in the car.
the cx mount won't bolt up to the z6; the holes are too far apart. built in canada....figures. maybe that's the problem.
the zc has a staggered bolt pattern on the mount as compared to being alligned with the timing belt as with the z6.
anyone have these problems before.

I had similiar issues. There are some differences. i forgot if it's the steel mount and the aluminum mount, or what not. I think it was the part that bolted to the block. i'll have to take pics to show everyone.
I had this problem when swapping from a DOHC ZC to a SOHC. All I did was change the mount. I had to cut something off the mount I had too.......it had an extra arm or something, I don't remember.
Charge pipes and ---- shouldn't be too far off.

now we're on the same page, i guess i can either try to get the top mount from the junkyard or change the whole mount.
i saw that it could probably be swapped but the bolts are located under a plastic guard that's behind the timing belt. i really didn't want to take that off if i wasn't sure.
pics would be great whiterice
