the block itself is the same, the pistons are different which is why you get different c/r's.

did you re-use the bearings from the z6 block, or did you size up new bearings? Possibly the differn't blocks have differn't main bearing sizes?

i swapped the bearings from the a6 block, it has all the a6 internals ecxept for the girdle from the z6. so i think the mains are the same

not if it's a z6 block w/ a6 crank/rods. you may need to plastigauge that thing.
