y8/z6

will the y8 oil pan fit opn the z6. are the two (y8/z6)interchange able as far as head, oil pan etc.

nope, won;t fit

Y8 and Z6 use a different oil pump and rear main seal design.

The heads are interchangable but like mista bone said the pans are not.

OBD2 oil pumps suck ***, I dont think I'd ever build a motor and use a y series pump.
