Default y8 head on z6 block???

Anyone know if this is possible, or what level of difficulty is involved? Any way to determine the compression ratio, possible piston/valve interference, etc?

the engines are similar, both vtec, both same bore and a lot of similarities, but I know small differences can make a huge difference. Thanks.

I just replied to your PM. Yes, it will bolt up. I didn't know there was a compression difference, but according to the calculator it raises the compression a tad bit. Nothing I would worry about though.

it will bolt up fine. but some people say that the z6 is a better head because it revs a little higher. and flows better in the topend.
