y8 harness??

Default y8 harness??

Ive been told my harness for my y7 will work with my b16a2 motor all xcept i dont have a vtec or knock sensor.. so if i had a y8 harness will it just go directly on the b16a2 motor?

well most of it it will work probably gonna run into two problems that I know of right off one being the iacv b series use a two wire switch and d use a 3wire magnito and then the crank shaft fluctaion sensor d uses once again a three wire and b uses two. I belive you can swith the ckfs buy cuting ito the harness and elimating the sheild wire and splicing the other two together gonna need to trace it all back right though and def need a helms manual at the very least I am having very simalar problems with my setup right now ls/vtec in a 97 civic dx wirng was a ----- even with the y8 harness. good luck have any more? feel free to pm me

idle air on a y8 harness is a 2 wire not a three wire.. the y7 is the 3 wire .. not sure about the crank deal u were talkin bout tho

I have a y8 harness and it is a three whire the z6 is a two wire and the z6 also does not have the ckfs but the y8 does sounds like you have a z6 harness to me
