y7 y8 ????????

whats the difference? is the y8 vtech and y7 not?

The y8 is v-tech and the y7 is super v-tech with extra nos sauce.

y-7 has 2 stages of vtec
y-8 has 3. you cant use three though. last guy who tried to hit the third stage of vtec is still recovering. without his left leg........

think about it. is it really worth it?

well the thing is that i burnt a valve and im just going to get an new head so was wondering if i can go with a y8 instead of the y7

sure can but since your already doing it might a well get a dohc v-tech (you might need some skunk 2 adjustable cam gears to do the timing but will be well worth it)
