Default Wrist Pin Spiro Lock Installation???????

OK... i want to put my engine together hopefully this weekend..... but what the ---- are you supposed to use to get the damn spiro locks on the wrist pins? is there like a special compressing plier type tool you can use... or is a machine shop gonna have to do it for me

Albert, I have no idea, but I think there is a special tool. If you need it done by tomarrow at noon we can take them over to my machine shop where they built my ----. That's if your going to BOTI tomarrow.

im just gonna go ahead and try to invent something to compress these peices of ---- to fir in.... unless someone can help me out with the name of the tool used or at least with a pic

holy ----... that was right under my nose and i didnt even bother to look at it..... as you can tell im the kinda guy who builds ---- without instructions... then goes back to read the instructions to figure out why i ended up with spare bolts...

damn who would have known... i was shitting bricks cause i stretched one out almost getting it in...

well it looks like ill be finishing that bitch off tommorow.... and ordering a cometic head gasket... and maybe droping it in next weekend... to break it in in time for the next drag meet....

Albert, remember. The piston ring gap grinder is your friend. Don't be scurred of it.
