Will Z6 or A6 IACV work w/ Y8 intake?
I have an A6 block, soon to have a Z6 head (own head and z6 intake), and Id like to put a Y8 manual intake (WTB, like to upgrade from the Z6 that came w/ head) on it, and add my LS throttle body (alreday have). I know, what a cluster ----. I was wondering if anyone knew for sure if a A6 or a Z6 IACV will fit on a Y8. I have both, and I will be converting to OBD1 as soon as my harness comes in (running chipped P2 and If a Z6 IACV fits on a Y8, then Im all set. It looks like they are close from pics ive seen, but i want to make sure. Im almost positive the the A6 one is way off, but if anyone has good info on this, it would be nice. BTW, yes I searched. Thanks.

anyone else know anything about the Y8s? If anyone has one lying around, can you take a pic of the IACV holes on the back next to a ruler so I can kinda eyeball it with the Z6 IACV I have? Thanks for the one response, but I was kinda looking for some sort of picture proof, or atleast one more person to verify that it doesnt work. But if no one knows, oh well, I guess Ill stick w/ a Z6 intake. It cant be that much worse than a Y8 can it??

That's all i deal with all day sohc..look at the skunk 2 manifold, it fits 88-2000. you will see picture proof on the back of the manifold. there are 2 different bolt holes on the back.the z6 and the a6 iacv is the same because, a z6 manifold is a upgraded version of the a6 manifold. you can put one bolt on it and just permatex the seal real good.it wany leak if you do it right..
