Yes the head will bolt up and you can perform the mini me hybrid swap. The part about the knock sensor I am unclear about.. do a search on honda-tech to see if it has one or not. Anyone else know?

i know the y7 has no knock sensor..but people put y8 heads on y7 a lot so there must be a way to make it work

i think its all the same internally...i would suggest just swapping to obd1 and not worrying about the knock sensor

I would say ---- the mini me and take the complete motor. Vtec is only good in a all motor setup. If you plan to boost ---- the Vtec.

or take the easiest route...fix your motor. I have a freshly cut crank if you are interested

cant find a y8 block
thats why a y7 bottom for 150 is so appealing
