It's been done before...better off using a regular d-series tranny to ease your pain of installation. As for the driver's side mount...retarded is the closest word I can think of. I helped a friend swap one of these into his 90 4-door, and I had to weld a solid mount for him to bolt from the motor to his front crossmember. :P The mount held up good, just everything else rattled apart around it.

That's cause it's the only one that bolts the motor itself to the car All the rest of the mounts are on the tranny.

Yeah, you're right...there's one on the driver's side of the motor itself, and one that bolts to the front of the motor on the driver's side if I remember right. My friend tried getting a mount for the dr. side, but I think he broke the bolts and that's probably why I had to weld the solid mount for him.

If that's the case dude just toss it in and strike up the welder. Shouldn't take long to make something up and should be relatively cheap. Hell take the original sohc driver side mount and make a adapter to bolt onto the stock mount and then to the front of the block like those stupid things have. Only thing is that don't those things have EGR's on them? Maybe just unbolt it and JBweld it shut or use a DOHC ZC intake manifold or just redrill a sohc manifold.

I don't think you need to worry about anything on the intake manifold...at least we didn't modify anything, just plugged the sensors in and ran it. Only ----- is the the dizzy setup...uses an external sensor on the exhaust cam, and even that's not really an issue if you know you're wiring.

2 wires from the sensor go to the 2 seperate wires on the dizzy. easy wiring. the car runs pretty quick for what it is.
