i noticed that my lude (h23) can redline all my gears and tops off at around 120-125 ,but when i had my del sol it couldnt redline 5th not even with turbo why ?

is my engine too powerful for my tranny and is there a way i could swap it out for a 6 speed tranny ?

 

It just has shorter gears. No your cars not to powerful for your tranny.

Yep, that's your problem, you're making too much power. turn the boost down.

BTW, anybody know why I keep ripping condoms? Is it because my **** is so big? Do they make jumbo condoms?

yah man they do they are called magnum's, pick some up.

 

if your del sol was a vtec del sol, you'd notice that you could redline 5th easily as well.

just as stated, it's just shorter gearing.

my friend has a b20z in his ek, with the del sol vtec tranny, and he can almost redline 5th, but his speedlimiter kicks in beforehand.

he cruises at ~70mph at like, 4500-5000 rpm
it's awful.

its not clutch slip and no boost ,i guess its the shorter gears or rev limiter is there somthing i can do about it or get rid of it ?
