if you really insist, and ur hg is still good... just replace 1 head bolt at a time doing a cross pattern? then torque all down to spec after there all in? lol i never changed headbolts. never had a problem with stock ones.

I agree with the above. However if you were gonna do it any way's, I'd reccomend

Do it with the Engine COMPLETELY cool(that way if the head lifts a small bit, the HG may not be stuck to it. Which could cause it to rip)

Do ONE head stud at a time(using the removal/installation order as normal). Take one bolt out... put in the stud... place on the washer/nut... do the torque step's... torque down for the final time. Move on to the next Head Bolt and do the same

Best of wishes..

i installed my arp headstuds one at time yesterday using the tightning sequence and managed to break one of the studs at almost 70 ftlbs. drilled it out and replaced it with a stock head bolt without removing the head. that was tough. got it tuned later on that night at 12.8 psi with a hard night of street racing. so far its holding up great. i'll update if i get any problems. phew did alot of ---- yesterday.
