Where does this coolant hose go?

Where does this coolant hose go?
I've looked at the shop manual posted here, I've talked to a couple guys and even had SkinnyE come take a look at this, but I can't figure out where this damn coolant hose on my 91 ls teg goes.
It's a smaller coolant hose connected to the thermostat housing, on the opposite side of the coolant bleeder. I've removed that cluster ---- of lines that connected the TB to the Valve cover and stuff on my LS, and I think the coolant line may have hooked up there. That's all gone, so where should this line hook up to? I don't think my Thermo idle valve (whatever you call that thing) is getting coolant, hence my fucked up idle. Here's a pic for ya.
I think it's #9 on that diagram. Any ideas guys?

Re: Where does this coolant hose go?
Im not 100% sure but on my A6 I had a coolant line that was plugged, I believe that it was connected to a fitting on an adapter mounted to the oil filter outlet. It seemed to be a oil cooler. i disconnected it and plugged the line.

Re: Where does this coolant hose go?
try hooking it up to your fast idle valve and see if it changes anything. if it does, good. if it doesn't, plug it and check to make sure everything else is getting coolant then forget about it.

Re: Where does this coolant hose go?
You have drank yourself retarded. #9 refers to the clips.
So which line are you talking about?
If you are taking stuff of the TB then you need to make a new line.
The stock order is Thermo Housing --> TB housing --> IACV --> Head
You need to make a longer hose that goes from the Thermo housing to the IACV inlet. You are just removing the TB from the equation.
