Also the stock LSD's are known not to be very strong. Also the ring gear uses a different bolt pattern.

Fine a cheap Z6 tranny ($75) that needs ISB replaced, install a OBX at the same thing.

About $600 right there and you know the wearable parts have been replaced.

 

how much can i expect to pay to have a tranny shop throw in a obx lsd in a z6?

If your a baller you should get a Y8 tranny and a Quaife LSD. Then swap in some shorter 3rd, 4th and 5th gears.

 

why becuase the y8 have steel shift forks
