Wheel bearing swap HELPPPPPPPPPP(UPDATE)
A 4th gen wheel bearing is smaller then the 5th gen...so no fit.
The 4th gen hub fits on the 5th gen Civic, but with some slight camber problems....
I drove it in town it was ok some hard pulls ok.
Went on the freeway it was all good, but after a while driving 70 mph the bearing began to make noises.
Bearing is dead ...I got me a whole hub with bearing for the 5th gen at the yunkyard for $50....it's all good now.
My mom send me some money....that's how I could afford it.
I filled up the thanks did some groceries and bought the hub....now I'm outa money again

Re:Wheel bearing swap HELPPPPPPPPPP
unfortunatly, the bearings don't "pop" out, they have to be pressed out. the steps you have to go through to get an old wheel bearing out of a hub actually pulls the bearing apart in such a way that it's not reusable (or not reliable anyway), even if it was compatible. when i did the civic EX brake swap on my CRX, one of the hubs needed a new bearing - $65 from honda plus $35 to have a machine shop install it.

Re:Wheel bearing swap HELPPPPPPPPPP
I've removed a wheel bearing a few times.
I made a homemade tool that works with a sledge hammer .
The bearing is out in 5 hits and I can pop it in the same way. the tool presses on the outer edge of the bearing so I don't think it would damage it though.
But I'll try it today and let you guys know if it fits
