Whats the story on the b series rear mount? *removed* pics 56k go take a ----
I'm trying to get out the stock mount on the subframe to replace it with my new b series mount.. I got the 2 easy bolts to get out.. had to use a damn near 2' extension and an air impact wrench.. wondering how in the hell i'm gonna get the bolt in the back out though.. any ideas? thinking about getting a 1/2" drive universal swivel socket.. other than that i'm clueless..
that crossed my mind, just thought i'd be professional about it.. but anyway.. I've got one of these

only prob is getting it in there.. sicne the motor is halfass sitting in the bay..

Ever think about maybe dropping the rear crossmember a hair to give you more room to get in there? Oh, and usually the rear mount is done while the motor is OUT of the car (although I have managed to replace them with a b-series still in there, but I'm not telling how

Oh, and your goodies will be out in the a.m.
undo the pinch bolt on the steering column, take out the 4 bolts on the rear crossmember, get a 3/8 drive socket set with a flexi joint and a couple of good extensions. Pry the crossmember down with a bar as far as you can then its easier to get to, best with the engine out but not too difficult with it in.
well I considered dropping the subframe.. and going about doing things the professional way.. Then I decided otherwise
