what would be best? turbo or supercharger?
i have a b16a in my 90 ls integra i installed myself aout 6 months ago and i want to get a little moe power from it. So i was thinking about putting turbo on it or supercharge it bu i am not sure i would like to turbo it everything on it is stock but for the clutch but everthing else it internally so i am looking for a cheap but good way to mange turbo for my car and as well what would be the best boost to run? thank you very much..

ive never heard any type of noise from a supercharger and there is like 3 in my area but yeterday we tryed to race a twin turbo supra in a spec v for fun and when i heard those blow off valves and the whinning of the turbos i was in heaven and the guy took us for a drive in it

i dont want to be an *** but superchargers are superior technology compared to turbocharging, turbocharging has been around for a very very very long time, but superchargers are much much more expensive. with a supercharger (roots or centrifugal) you do not get the mass amounts of heat and you can get power throughout the rpm range. superchargers are much more streetable. the only drawbacks of superchargers are its impossible or hard to run a intercooler with a roots type blower and they don't make as much high rpm power as a big turbine

Superchargers are simply not a huge players in this field though.. All the worlds fastest hondas are all turbo.
Heat problems hardly pose problems anymore with very efficent IC's and excellent aftermarket management setups. Personally I would never buy a supercharger, they are very over rated.
