i dont have any fuel upgrades except an aem fuel rail, s-afcII and thats it... should i look into getting someting else, like an adjustable FPR or slightly larger injectors??? But the zex system is pretty good, because it increase your fuel press accordingly to your vac press and what your map sensor is reading...so someone help a nukka out

ZEX is only safe to 65 shot, beyond that you need bigger injectors and a FPR..........

Also, ZEX does NOT increase the fuel by reading the vac or map.......It adds fuel like a FMU......adding pressure to the FPR to increase fuel rail pressure. Instead of using boost pressure it uses nitrous. The fuel jet controls the amount/rate the the FPR sees..........

so if i wanted to go with the 75 shot, i shuld look into getting slightly bigger fuel injectors and possibly an FPR? Because when i get my piston work and such finished, i will be using the 75 shot, and want to be as safe as possible, lol and with the afc i can tune that to run the larger injectors correct?

Im building a d16z6 right now. A1 pistons, y8 crank and rods. Im sure the comp will be high. Im going to run some DSM 390s and get it tuned. I have arp rod bolts and head studs. Im not even sure how much I can spray. So Im kinda in the same boat as you. Im going to talk to the guys at Streetdrivenpro and see what they say. Anyone that has info please share.

75 shot willl be fine on a d16z6 with a good maintenance record! Just make sure you give it adequate timing retard.

If you plan on going higher than 75 shot, wet shot or even direct is the way to go.

Good luck!

i did have a kit on it, pics to prove, but with auto trans, ---- just kpet ------ up, i tried conversion harness and uber, no go, afc wouldnt work right, sepnt like 3 weeks wiht that fucker, gave up and sold the kit. I had n2o waaaay before the turbo, so i figure, if i have it, why not use it? plus im going to be selling the car here next spring, so i gotta make it look appealing, lol
