a friend has a pr3-4 with 2000 stamped on it.
i say si he says type r.

 

Could have come from either...
Type-r head is ported from the factory.
Does it have Type-R valve train in it? Cams?

 

i say from a 8 valve hf motor

 

it has dual springs on intake and exaust and 16valves

 

WEll only way is to look at the bowl and and the valves

 

PR3 is type r if i'm not mistaken

 

pr3 is not only type r
its also b16 (at least it was in 89-91 :P)

 

whats the year stamp near the exhaust ports? looks like 9/9

my boy got a pr3-4 its a integra type r head.. not sure of the yr but his is type r.. has the type r cams

the ones w/ the 2 grooves by the distributor

some1 had pics that showed the difference..


his b16 is pr3-2 thats a jdm b16a from 89-91

also look at the cams as i said some1 had a pic that showed the diff in type r cams
