Default what engine will easily swap into my 98 EX (y8)?

I'm looking for an engine to temporarily replace my barely-running d16Y8 and I was wondering if anything else will swap in quickly and easily without having to replace extra stuff like the dizzy or wiring harness (sensors all reach and connectors fit, vac lines reach, etc). I've already got a headache and don't feel like adding to it right now. Is this going to happen or do I just need to get a Y8? The vac lines are no problem really, but I've never pulled a wiring harness. How big of a pain would it be to swap out if I needed to? Any other engine just drop in and plug up? How much modification would be needed to use a Y7, or a Z6? Anyone know?

BTW, I've got a chipped P28 ECU, so the engine control part shouldn't be a problem.
Thanks in advance.

b-series motors are "fairly" easy for you. why dont you just get another y8 if you are that unsure.

i'd get a 98 GSR engine if it were me. u only need to add a few wires. even less wiring if u use a 98 ITR motor.
