What do you think?
ok again, i worked alittle on my car today. I replaced the starter and it turns over again. Still no spark. New distributor. couple of questions. My timing belt seems wrong really tight on the front side and loose on the back side. If i have a d16z6 block and a d16a6 head i use the a6 belt right. second whats the order of white wires on the distributor. (yes, im going to get the wiring diagram out) which ones are the one's i switch and what order are they in. any other reason why there is no spark? thanks guys. im gonna finish this project if its the last thing i do!
ok so i put the white wires on the engine side of the plug and matched them to the si distributor. i go to start it up and still some weird ----. it turned over but something happened and smoke came out the throttle. So on tuesday and wednesday ill be pulling the bitch apart and taking alook, then im putting it all back togther and doing it again. someday ill get this ---- right. it's tough doing this ---- by myself, but it is fun
i dont know about that. because as far as i know the water pump and oil pumps are for the most part the same for most d-series. im almost positive that what ever head dictates what belt you use.
firing order is wrong
also your plugs are most likely fucked from priming and never burning the fuel drenced on them
replace plugs/check firing order
I promise itll start
also any check engine code regardless needs to be fixed
