I will probably end up doing this... then later on when i have some more $$$ saved up i might get the Arizona Race and Machine's TwinTrac unit....

Im getting another tranny later on to put the twin trac in.... the reason im welding this one is cause its got a grinding *** 3rd gear... so its pretty much fucked anyways, just to experiment with it...

My freind welded his diff in his race chevelle. You guys are all right, it WONT go around courners. I love the looks we get driving to the gas station a ----, the car hops and wheels scream even at like 10mph around a turn and hes gotta get a two hand death grip on the wheel to keep it from straighening out.

He first welded the gears like you guys are talking about but the welds broke, then cut and welded a plate in there to make sure he had more weld length and it hasnt failed yet. Its sure fun to see two towers of smoke instead of the peg leg burnout though.

it's easy to turn a car with a welded dif, just pull up on that stick next to your shifter whenever you come to a corner.

how does that twin trac fit in there? is it really tiny or what?
