no no, im sure the car still functions going inbetween closed and open just fine. IM just saying when its open loop and closed it runs like crap. And i believe open loop is when its not running off any of the sensors. So i doubt it would be any of the sensors. other then the ect and iat because i changed them both.

Does it seem to run extremely rich at idle? Seems to clean up a little if you rev the motor? If that's the case try switching the plugs for your tps and map sensor. They're pretty common ones to get mixed up, will cause your car to run like complete ----, and won't throw any codes due to the fact they both use the same voltage range.

Are you running a resistor box with dsm 450's? The old "blue top" 1st gens require a resistor box, you'd know if it wasn't hooked up right. In the obd1 connector plug there's 1 12v power in, and the connector branches it to the other 4 wires leading to the injectors. Just find which wire is power, splice it into the red wire on the resistor box, and all the yellows from it go to the low impedance injectors.
Otherwise, if you have high impedance injectors (standard obd1 style) it'll def. not run right with a resistor box. If you're not sure, do an ohms test on the injectors to find out which one's you have.
