head swap and boost would be nice, since the VX bottom end is identical to the D15B VTEC and has mega dish pistons..

D15Z1 is only 12-16 valve VTEC.. there is no high cam lobe..

the vx and ex vtec work in 2 diffrent ways.

(called vtec-e (e for economy)) the vx starts of by using 1 intake valve and switches to 2 valves when the vtec engages

(regular vtec) the ex uses all four valves and changes the lift and the duration of the valves when the vtec engages

in other words, regular vtec goes from slow to fast while vtec e goes from extra slow to slow

agreed, just swap the whole head if your thinking of doing the cam, and change out to a d16z6 tranny or y8
