if all the wiring is right i dont see how it wouldnt work. and you got a brand new sensor. i dont see how the head is messed up? i thought u said you checked everything and nothings locked up. post a picture of what you have.

ill post pics, but i have checked everything within the head: Cam, rocker arms, and solenoid. The only thing im not sure about (and this is the reason i posted this post to start with) is the oil passage. When i got the head milled i dont think i cleaned it out good enough and metal shavings got into an oil passage, and not enough pressure is getting to the rocker arms!

well i took the rocket arm assembly off for the 100th time (i can do it with my eyes closed now) and i sprayed compressed air in the oil orifice under the assembly. And i could feel the air coming out of the hole on the VTEC solenoid (i took the solenoid off also). So there is no restriction there. Maybe nothing is wrong? Maybe its just me? But my DOHC ZC feels A LOT faster than this car does! and it shouldnt.

well i advanced the timing about 7 degrees and now it actually feels good on top end. It will break the tires loose at 5,000RPM. IM gonna play with the timing a little more to see if i can get it how i want it. Maybe this is all it was??

actually i still think its not working now. When i unplug the solenoid, the car feels just as fast as if it was plugged in, VTEC is still not working....advancing the timing just made a little faster, still no VTEC. Whats up with it?
