Default vtec no worky

its a b16a and i converted to obd1 with a p30 ecu. and the vtec worked once. for one shift and thats it. i was woundering if i burnt it out? sence it is the first selonoid thats been on the engine. or do i need to by a silonoid thats off a obd1 engine for it to work?

i know this is a stupid Question. i just don't want to spend money on somthing i don't need to.

also the wireing is right i triple checked it. and my brother has triple checked it.

Hmm, odd, no a solid light usually means theres a serious error. Is this a stock ecu? non chipped? I do believe the P30 is going to be looking for the IAB's on the B16a and if I know my B series right the B16a does not have them. Also possibly the knock sensor. there may be a few reasons your getting that light.

check your codes I bet if you pull your battery post and reset the ecu you will get 1 more v-tec.

yeah, take the battery off for about a minute and put it back on. Take it for a drive but dont hit vtec. If the cel comes on check your codes.

none of it worked... even when i took the battery off. and i turned the car on the cel light was just solid. i'm starting to thing the silanoid is bad. or the wireing for it is wrong.
