vtec engauging?

Default vtec engauging?
i drove my swapped crx for the first time the other day. i noticed that there wasnt really a whole lot of power, my buddies told me that it was missing on one cylender and that vtec probably wasnt engauging. should there be a sound that i can hear? or is it only supposed to engauge at WOT. its a b16a1

you can tell when the vtack comes on.

ive heard you can certainly tell, but its my first time driving w/ a b16 so im just curious if there is any tell tale signs. like say, what rpm is it supposed to engauge at?

stock pr3 i think is 4800


do a 3rd gear pull should click on

actually i am getting a cel now that you mention. its probably because im running very rich for having no cat, but i will get it checked
