Vitara Wrist pins into Eagle rods

I'm putting vitaras on eagle rods and the wrist pins wont go thru the rod ends smoothly..

Now i know u can do the heating and the freezing to make em go in but this is supposed to be a full floating setup so the heating wont be a good idea after it settles down and hug eachother tighter than my penis and a teenage vagina.

Am i missing something? was i supposed to get different wrist pins? bore out the rod end?

Thanks in advance

Is lube part of your process?

go to the part store and buy a brake cylinder hone its like $7, put it in a drill and hone like .002 from the inside of the rod. works beautifully.

??? ??? ??? ???

I was unaware you had to do this. what's the difference between this and heating it up? what would be the problem with heating it?

If you heat up the rod and install the pin, it will seize in there when the rod cools and it won't be a full floating setup as required.

Machining is often needed on the rods to handle aftermarket pins. A brake cylinder hone does the job nicely.

If you live in the ghetto, sure.

Yes, it gets the job done.

No, it's not the right way to do it.
