v tec d15b

Foreign Engines in Coeur D' Alene, Idaho sells jdm v tec d15 engines for fairly cheap (free delivery to your door too if you live in the area).

does anyone know if all the jdm v-tec d15s (130hp) are the same? because i'm thinking about buying one but i don't want to get stuck with a VX replacement.
what can i look for? any info is greatly appreciated.

well, its still going to say D15 so its a 1.5l but look for vtec on the valve cover and most important the vtec solenoid

Just make sure the valve cover says vtec and not vtec-e .The motor should like a d16z6 (intake man.etc)
