take the AWD civic wagon, and put all of the components out of it into the crx. cheaper and no one else does it, if thats what you are looking for. which yousaid it was so...i throw the challenge out to you.

The 88-90 Legend motor is rated at 161 hp and 162 lb ft tq at the flywheel from the factory. http://www.inexpro.com/legend_temple/ Click technical scrolls.
Has some great torque and powerband though, my stock 89 Legend coupe 5 speed beater I bought for $200 runs low to mid 15's in a 3200 lb luxury car and smokes most of the rice around here lol.

I live in Washington state and there is a guy selling a 1984 civic hatch widebody with a Legend V6 swap in this weeks Autotrader(6999 and below), so yeah... its been done. it actually looks pretty clean, total sleeper, no doubt.
